Happy friday y’all!
Is it just me or did this week feel long? We had some crazy weather here so I was glad to be able to work from home on Monday and Tuesday.
ONE. Last weekend was incredibly relaxing. On Saturday I slept in, read while I had breakfast and coffee, and then went for a run on the greenway. The weather on Saturday wasn’t great, but Sunday made up for it! Matt and I ate outside after church and I didn’t get any pictures but it was fantastic!
TWO. I got our bathroom cabinet painted! I know I’ve mentioned that we’ve got big plans for the condo and that we’re going to be focusing on the kitchen, but since those plans are delayed I moved onto some other things on the list. Do you like the blue? I used the same color that we’re going to be using in the kitchen, so it was a good trial run.
THREE. I got another project done too – some memo boards for the kitchen. My mission for next week is to decide what to post on them! 🙂
FOUR. This week I tried making Paleo fried chicken (with almond flour) and it did not disappoint – it was delicious! Matt and I liked it so much that I’m going to make it again tomorrow night when we have friends over.
FIVE. Wednesday night we met with our life group at church and the girls got time to talk and share about how things are going. I shared that I’m struggling with knowing what’s the most important thing to do and just feeling spread thin. It wasn’t a coincidence that the next morning I went to listen to a podcast and the next one in my queue was on priorities 🙂
